Mayor Jim Bingham makes the first donation to Team Brandon
and walks away with a Comfort Research Pool Petz Dolphin.
The Grand Opening will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 where the public will be welcome to come and enjoy the new facilities. Local industry, Comfort Research, has donated their locally manufactured pool noodles and pool petz for the first new swimmers. For a $10 donation to Team Brandon, a fundraiser for local student and lifeguard, Brandon Bradley, who is about to undergo his second round battle with Leukemia. Comfort Research makes the pool noodles, Southern Carton of Lewisburg provides the packing boxes and Lewisburg Printing provides the packaging printing to make this donation a true local industry effort.
To break in the new water slide, City Manager Randall Dunn, Public Works Director Buck Beard and City Councilman Trigg Cathey each took a turn coming down the water slide.

For 62 years, the outdoor swimming pool has been providing family fun summer after summer; and thanks to the new renovation and water slide, many more generations of Lewisburg and Marshall County families will have a place to enjoy for many, many summers to come.
Miss Lewisburg Courtney Neill and Miss Marshall County Hannah Haynes holds a couple of Pool Petz from Comfort Research next to the brand new Water Slide.
