Lewisburg Unveils 20-Year Vision Plan

Representatives from Hodgson Douglas, The Walker Collaborative and the Kennon Calhoun Workshop made the final presentation of the Lewisburg Vision Plan 2035 Thursday evening, March 13, 2014, at the Lewisburg Recreation Center before a large group of citizens and local officials.
Doris Wayne Weaver, Lynda Potts and John Murphy review
some of the Vision Plan drawings of what Lewisburg can look
like in 20 years.
The Vision Plan project has been almost nine months in the making and provides Lewisburg with a road map to smart growth in three key areas - Greenspace, Downtown and Corridors. By following an implementation matrix created to guide the process, Lewisburg can use the Vision Plan to encourage and direct smart growth principles over the next five, ten, fifteen and twenty years.
